At QCMI, we provide domestic customers with casting services outsourced from overseas. Over our 30 years of offering overseas production solutions, we have developed unique relationships with a network of quality manufacturers. Using this network, we can meet most of our clients’ manufacturing requirements, including both small and large-scale production.

For every casting order, we put quality first. One way we ensure product quality is by maintaining an overseas staff of mechanical engineers, QC personnel, and project managers who are on-site at the production plants to verify products are manufactured to the proper specifications. Additionally, we offer a wide range of post-casting quality inspection services, including 3rd party inspection if requested.

Once the final product is cast and inspected, we manage all aspects of the shipping process, including clearing US customs, to ship it on-time to your requested location. During shipping, the product is insured.

When a client requests a quote for a manufacturing project, we contact our network of manufacturers in Asia and return the best quote. Our manufacturing partners are ISO9001 certified at a minimum. We also utilize IATF 16949 certified partners where required.

An Overview of Casting

Casting is the process of pouring liquefied material into a specially designed mold and allowing it to harden. Removing the solidified piece from the cavity leaves a custom designed solid shape. This piece may undergo further finishing treatments before use.

Cast products are used in many industries, including:

  • Automotive/transportation
  • Consumer goods/equipment
  • Medical devices
  • Construction
  • Telecommunications

There are many different casting processes available, each of which offers advantages depending on the end product. A list of the processes offered by our network of manufacturers is shown in the capabilities section below.

Working With QCMI Corp

We offer high quality cast products manufactured overseas at competitive prices. Once a client requests a casting project, our overseas staff identifies the optimal manufacturer from our extensive network. They will then be on-site to supervise the production process—from initial CAD drawing to the shipment of the finished product—and ensure the project adheres to both the production schedule and specifications.

Some of the advantages of working with us include:

  • Regular project status updates.
  • A wide range of post-casting quality inspection services.
  • All manufacturing partners are ISO9001 certified at a minimum.
  • We manage the entire shipment process, including clearing US customs.
